AGM & Annual Report
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday 10th February and we would like to draw your attention to the following notice regarding vacant positions on the Club Board and Committee.
The following positions will become vacant by rotation and any nominations for new committee members need to be made by Friday 30th January.
By Rotation:
Board Members:
Andy Pretswell - Captain
James Young – Finance Director
General Committee Members:
Eve Hunter – General Committee
Brian Taylor – House and Social Convener
The Committee supports the following nominations:
Denise Richards to replace Andy Pretswell as Captain
Henry Coyle to replace Denise Richards as Vice-Captain
Allan Young to replace James Young as Board Member and Finance Director
Other Recommendations:
Mandy Douglas to replace Eve Hunter as General Committee member
Gordon Innes to replace Brian Taylor as House and Social Convener
The Committee's nominations have been posted in the clubhouse.
We have a space on the General Committee for a House and Buildings Convener, please contact the office if you want any more information on the role.
Notwithstanding the Committee's recommendations, any two Ordinary Members of the Club may nominate a member to fill a place on the Committee having previously obtained their consent in writing. The nomination (together with the written consent of the nominee) must be submitted to the office not later than Friday 30th January 2026.
In the event that there are more nominees than available vacancies, then a vote will take place at the AGM.
The Club is keen to secure additional support from the wide array of business skills, expertise and golf industry knowledge that exists across the membership base, so if you would like to serve on the Committee, please liaise with your fellow members to secure a nomination.
