The Ailsa Murphy Junior Academy is a fun and inclusive coaching programme aimed at encouraging more young people to play golf, develop their skills and progress within the game. Led by PGA professional Ailsa Murphy, the Academy is open to primary and secondary school children within the Peeblesshire community, hosted at our practice facilities.

The Academy provides coaching for different age groups and those at different stages of their golf development.

Academy Membership Fees

Junior Membership will continue to be split into three categories going forward:

  • Under 12s: £120

  • Under 16s: £140

  • Under 18s: £165

The classes will be split by age and school year. I have offered more classes this year to accommodate the high number of kids looking to join the Academy – this also gives a bit more flexibility for those with busy schedules!

With the Golf Academy extending and the membership continuing to grow, Fridays have become very busy and I’m now running seven Junior classes that day. Unfortunately, this means it’s no longer possible to continue the High School Academy sessions on a Friday so I have moved them to a Wednesday evening. I understand this change may not suit everyone however would really appreciate your flexibility and support.

  • Development Squad- Time: 4.30pm - 5.30pm (12 spaces available)

  • Elite Squad (By Invite only) - Time: 5.30pm - 6.30pm (12 spaces available)
