Driving Range and Swing Studio – Now Open
PGC Practice range: 2019 Season tickets now available
The club has made further investment in the practice range with new short game tee areas and new yellow practice balls.
Season tickets offer members a cost effective, easy way to access the range facilities.
There are two season ticket options available.
Summer Ticket: 1st April – 31st October: Adults £100; Juniors <18 £50
Season Ticket: 1st April – 31st March 2020: Adults £120; Juniors <18 £60
In addition, members can buy:
Monthly Ticket (30 consecutive days): Adults £20; Juniors <18 £10
How does the season ticket work?
Ø A season ticket holder entitles the holder to 60 baskets of ball per month. The ticket holder receives two 30 square cards each month. A square is marked every time a range token is collected. Unused baskets cannot be carried forward to future months.
Ø A maximum of two tokens can be collected from the pro shop or the bar at any one time (two squares marked). We don’t want tokens sitting in golf bags and glove boxes. Members are encouraged to only use one token at busy times – competitions days etc.
Ø The season ticket is for the named user only and is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Abuse of the process will lead to the season ticket being voided.
Ø N.B. Yellow practice balls should only be used on the practice range or short game area. Use on the course or the area next to the 15th is not allowed.
How do I get a season ticket?
Application forms are available from the Office or the Pro. Once the form is completed and cash paid you will be issued with your April Cards.
What facilities are available?
With support from sportscotland, Peebles Common Good Fund, Clubsport Tweeddale, Scottish Borders Community Grant Scheme and Scottish Golf, the Club has recently opened a superb new three-bay undercover driving range and a state-of-the-art PGA swing studio. In addition, there are two non-covered bays and short game practice area. A ball dispensing machine has been sited next to the shoe cleaning machine.
The range will be open during daylight hours. Floodlights will be installed to enable usage in the winter months
How much does it cost to use?
For occasional use , a token for a basket of 30 balls will cost £2. The ball dispensing machine only takes tokens, these will be available from the Pro Shop when open and the Bar at other times.
Who can use the facility?
The facility will be open to members and non-members although we will restrict non-member usage on Competition days. All users of the range will be directed to access the range via a route around the back of the 1st Tee. Signage will be in place and a formal path will be constructed over the winter.
Can I use my own balls on the range?
No – for safety reasons it is not possible for members to collect their own balls on the range. Members will be able to use their own balls in the practice bunker and the green behind the range.
