Having a strategic business plan in place enables our club to operate more effectively by setting out clear objectives and practical actions. Given the regular turnover of committee members at many golf clubs, a well-defined plan helps preserve continuity by maintaining consistent priorities and shared goals for both elected officials and the wider membership.

While strategic plans can often be detailed and complex, our intention has been to create a clear and accessible plan built around a set of simple pillars that reflect the ethos of our club and resonate with our members.

Within each of these pillars are measurable and realistic objectives accompanied by specific actions which will provide our members more transparency on what we plan to achieve as a club going forward. We recognise that not every goal may be achieved and that the plan should be reviewed and updated regularly. However, having this structure in place gives us the strongest possible foundation to build a successful, sustainable club that can thrive long into the future.

This plan outlines our core strategic goals, providing further detail on each pillar along with examples of the high-level objectives we aim to achieve within them over the next few years. Finally, our annual ‘Plan on a Page’ will give members a simple overview of what we, as a club, intend to accomplish each year in terms of more specific objectives and actions within each pillar.
