The jewel in the Borders golfing crown, Peebles is a fun but challenging Harry Colt designed course set in a beautiful location with a family friendly vibrant club at the heart of the local community. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of course presentation year-round and are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Greenkeeper to join our dedicated team.
The Role
We’re on the hunt for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our experienced and dedicated greenkeeping team, whether you are in a current greenkeeping position or looking for a new opportunity and willing to undertake training. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our beautiful 18-hole course, ensuring it remains in peak condition all year round.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily course maintenance – mowing, divoting, bunker raking, turf care
- Operating and maintaining modern greenkeeping machinery
- Supporting renovation and improvement projects
- Complying with all health and safety regulations
- Contributing to a positive, hardworking team environment
About You:
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management (or working towards it)
- Previous experience in greenkeeping or grounds maintenance preferred, but we will also invest in candidates with less experience but with the desire to undergo training
- Passionate about course presentation, sustainability, and the outdoors
- Flexible and reliable – early mornings and weekend work required on a rota
- PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates are a bonus
- Full UK driving licence essential
