Match Result v Torwoodlee

It was yet another fine day with this recent spell of dry sunny weather continuing for the match against Torwoodlee. There is plenty of run on the course at present due to this and plenty of big bounces although the Torwoodlee golfers in particular felt that they never benefited from many. They did comment however on how good the course is looking so congratulations to the green- keeping staff for that. Everyone enjoyed the course, weather, company and of course the meal after. Congratulations to the caterers once again for the latter. Results - Match 1 Peebles won 6&4, Match 2 Peebles won 4&2, Match 3 Peebles won 1 up, Match 4 Peebles lost 3&1, Match 5 Peebles won 2 up, Match 6 Peebles won 1 up. Overall Peebles 5 Torwoodlee 1.
