*** Match Fee update ***

Gents - the club subsidises the inter-club matches between Peebles seniors and other club seniors. However in the current financial climate the caterers have had to increase the charges made for the package that we currently use for matches ie tea/coffee/morning roll before the match and 1 course lunch after the match. Therefore the club is not now in a position to subsidise this package to include the increased cost so for the remainder of the season it has been decided to increase the match fee to £15 per match starting with the Carnwath match on Friday 20th June and for the remaining 7 away and 3 home matches thereafter. This arrangement will then be reviewed and a decision made for the 2026 matches as regards the level of the match fee or whether the catering package be downgraded to a cheaper one. 

It is unfortunate that this change has had to be made but not totally unexpected and hopefully all of those who have participated in the matches will not be put off playing in the remaining matches this season and in future years.
