The Peebles team triumphs over Carnwath.

The weather forecast did not look too good for this match with rain forecast. However it did not turn out as bad as predicted  - especially for the first 2 groups who got round dry but the groups after that did get wet with the rain being heavy but at least only lasting for a short time. The course - with the long spell of dry weather provided a good deal of run and the greens were relatively fast but true. The meal after was again excellent. Results - Match 1 Peebles won 7&6, Match 2 Peebles won 7&5, Match Peebles lost 5&4, Match 4 Peebles won 4&2, Match Peebles won 5&4, Match Peebles won 6&5 - overall Peebles 5 Carnwath 1.
