Victory over Glencorse … and the Seniors’ Team is unbeaten at home this season!

We completed our matches at home in glorious sunny weather (as usual this year) against Glencorse. Despite the greens having been cored everyone agreed that they were still in very good condition. Remarks were made as to the stunning scenery of the course as well as the excellent condition of it. The Glencorse team congratulated their past caterers on the meal produced and were glad they were doing well in Peebles. Results - Match 1 Peebles won 4&3, Match 2 Peebles won 5&4, Match 3 Peebles won 3&2, Match 4 all square, Match 5 Peebles won 5&4, Match 6 Peebles won 2&1. Overall Peebles 5.5: Glencorse 0.5.

The old adage prevails that it is very difficult to win away from home with Peebles remaining unbeaten at home and only a draw against West Linton stopping a perfect run of winning all 7 of our home matches.
