5th June Report

After last week's washout 21 players employing 5 clubs [putters included]  played for the Roddie McAlpine gavel. As is custom the winner will be announced at the Xmas lunch.

Excellent golfing conditions saw a surfeit of birdies with Brian Taylor[ at 5 and 8], Chris Malcolm  [at 8 and 9], Bill Hardcastle at 5 and  George Langlands at 8. Jimmy Mair was nearest at 7.
