Results for 25th June + Ken Bowie Salver change.

24 players braved the hot weather conditions to produce some hot scores with 12 players scoring 20 or more points. Second place went to David Forsyth with 24 points, Willie Watters taking the honours with 26points. John Forsyth was nearest at 7.

David Stobo was made welcome to the group.

Following a suggestion that a strokeplay event be considered as a change to the now normal stableford arrangement the proposal is to change the Ken Bowie Salver to strokeplay. Ken was a single figure handicap in his prime and loved his golf. I am sure he would approve of the change. The date for event will be confirmed soon.
