Despite a poor weather forecast 21 players set off. Recent high scoring was maintained. Second place went to Jim Pettigrew on 28 points. Melvin Cannell was first returning 29 points. John Forsyth converted his nearest the pin at  7 with a birdie 2 while Roger Key also birdied 7.

Ian Quigley's 29 points for last week had been increased to 30 as his handicap was 25 not 24.
