Results for July 23rd

The continued good weather encouraged 24 players out. Scoring was again high with 10 players scoring 20 or more points. Melvin Cannell and Willie Waters both returned 23 points and could not be separated on countback so a tie for second place was declared. Ken Davey was a clear winner with 25 points. Melvin was nearest the pin at 7 while Bob Bennett and Jimmy Mair both birdied 9.

Next week we are playing for Ken Bowie's Salver. This is now a stroke competition with a full bag of clubs and no gimmies.
