Match report v Craigielaw

This may sound a bit boring and repetitious but the weather for the match at Craigielaw was glorious - warm, sunny at times and hardly a breath of wind - can this last for the remaining six matches in August, September and October? The course was in excellent condition especially the greens which were a wee bit faster than those we are used to in Peebles, The catering and bar service were also excellent. Also many thanks to Craigielaw for suggesting that the one reserve that both sides had play a round together as a friendly non-counting part of the proceedings. Henry found the experience very enjoyable. Results - Match 1 Peebles won 6&5, Match 2 A/S, Match 3 Peebles won 2&1, Match 4 Peebles lost 1 down, Match 5 Peebles lost 6&5, Match 6 Peebles lost 2&1. Overall Craigielaw 3.5 Peebles 2.5. Once again a very narrow defeat away from home.
