Craigielaw match report

The match against Craigielaw began in fresher weather conditions than of late but during the round the sun appeared and the temperature returned to about 20 degrees as has become the norm these days. The course with this run of hot dry weather gave lots of run and quite hard bounces at times. The greens were true if a little slower than what Craigielaw players are used to. The food was excellent after the match. From the chat and laughter in the clubhouse after it was obvious everyone had enjoyed themselves. The first 3 matches went Peebles way followed by Craigielaw winning the next 2. So it was all on the final match a to whether it would be a halved match overall or a win to Peebles. Well done to the final pair who won 4 and 3 to give Peebles an overall win of 4:2.
