Gifford match report

We entertained Gifford for the first time in this new fixture. Following on from our away victory there earlier in the season we were keen to achieve ‘the double’

Gifford definitely brought their A team and boasted a one handicapper within their ranks so the scene was set for a challenging encounter.

The weather was disappointing at first with a brisk wind and persistent rain. However things improved significantly and most of the match was played in ideal conditions.

Peebles didn’t get the best of starts and lost the first game narrowly. However the rest of the games resulted in wins for the home team!

Final result: Peebles 5 Gifford 1.

A huge thank you to the players from both teams for making the match an enjoyable experience for all.
